Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Criminal defense

I was trying to help my daughter who was being hit by a woman during a fight to get the woman off of my pregnant daughter and have been charged with battery (touch or strike). Is there a good defense for protecting my daughter?

Re: Criminal defense

Your explanation is certainly a valid defense to the charges filed against you. However, you should not discuss this case with the prosecutor or the police without first consulting an attorney. You could make admissions that would harm you rather than help you.

If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
