how long does broward county have to extradite a person for violating probation with a dirty urine in he turns himself in in another county?

Could take a long time. I had a client who waited for 30 days before Broward transferred her to Hillsborogh for a technical violation.

I would definitely try to deal with this here in Broward. If you were to hire an attorney here in Broward the person may be able to avoid any jail time all together. An attorney might be able to work out an in-court surrender and turn around walk your friend right out the door.

What was the Defendant put on probation for in the first place?

Also, how much probation has already been completed?

I was a prosecutor here in Broward before going into private practice.
