Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have no criminal record but I pawned four rings for a friend and I found out they were stolen. I have 2 warrants for dealing in stolen goods and giving false information to a pawnbroker. What are my chances of not going to jail when I go to court

well If you have a warrant you will need to take care of it. Generally taking care of it means turning yourself in which means going to jail (at least temporarily) You may want to contact a bondsman and arrange a walk through (where they basically book you and release you). As far as going to jail for the offense at the time of sentencing, you should know that dealing in stolen property is a serious charge with a potential sentence of 15 years in prison. If you have no prior record you have a very good chance of avoiding prison, but you should contact an attorney because these are very serious charges.
