Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was curious if i was correctly understanding this Florida law. First my understanding is that a bow and arrow would be classified as a firearm. If this is correct. Then my question is regarding Florida statute 790.15 section 4 subsection b. From my understanding it would be legal to discharge the bow and arrow as long as there is no risk to life, safety or property. Is there another law I should be looking at regarding target shooting with a bow and arrow?

Look at 790.001 for the definition of a firearm. A bow and arrow is not a firearm.
