Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

If someone was taken into custody for a crime that they was not at and they have witnesses that they was not at the crime and a person who was with the victim knows that the person that was taken into custody was not there what & who in the authourities area can that person talk with if the suspect dont & cant afford a lawyer

If he can't afford a lawyer, then he can talk a public defender. He shouldn't be speaking with anybody but a lawyer, so if he has no money then the public defender is the only option.
