Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I dated a lawyer and we recently broke up. He has driven by my house on several occassions uninvited and has been sending me awful text messages. Recently I began dating someone and he once again drove by my house, noticed another vehicle in the driveway, he ran the license plate to get his name and then ran a full background check. Is this legal for him to do this in the state of Florida? He has a history of this kind of behavior with his previous girlfriend, she filed a domestic violence injunction against him, as well as her boyfriend filing a bar complaint. I'm not sure what to do, I just want him to leave me alone.

You have the right to get an injunction as well. I would encourage that. Getting an attorney would probably be helpful.
