Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My daughter was forgotten in a classroom last week and the teacher didn't realize it until she returned with the rest of the class 15 mintutes later. Is it illegal to leave/forget a 6 year old student unsupervised in a classroom for any length of time?

There is possible child neglect and if she locked the classroom door there would be false imprisonment. The odds of the police or state attorney's office filing charges are probably slim. If anything you have a good civil suit if your daughter suffered any damages (emotional distress, possible danger).
