Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My daughter pressed simple battery charges against me but when she signed the police report she did not sign it with her legal name. When she married she never changed her last name to her married name legally, but signed the report with her married named. Is that legal?

This really won't have any impact on the case. There are often little errors by witnesses or cops in their statements. Sometimes it can matter but this is not one of them. There is nothing "illegal" about this issue.

I agree with the other gentleman. What happened there will not alter the case. This is not an issue.
