Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Declination of prosecution
Where can we find an example of a declination of prosecution?
Or how to obtain such as form?
Anything would be helpful.... Maybe an outline of what it should look like or obtain in the form.
Thank you

Re: Declination of prosecution
A notarized letter to the prosecutor assigned the case is sufficient. Include the reasons for your request. Remember its still their choice to prosecute, you are a witness, not a party to the action. The defendant should have a lawyer and should review this letter before you send it.
