Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
When do I know defendant's plea & arraignment date
It's been 23 calendar days since the arrest (12/28).
My question is: When will I know
A) how he's going to plead?
B) the date of the arraignment?
The arrest was in Florida, the charge was 784.03-1a1(HG), Strike or Touch/Battery/Domestic Violence.
He is being represented by a Public Defender, I have the State Attorney's Office. Thank you for your help.

Re: When do I know defendant's plea & arraignment date
The victim in any criminal matter is NOT represented by the State Attorney. You can contact the State Attorney or Clerk's office in the jurisdiction charged/arrested and they should give you the court date and what plea is entered by the defendant.
