Law enforcement officers ("LEOS") are notorious for stopping a vehicle on a "hunch" that the driver has been drinking. Once stopped, the tools used by LEOS to evaluate a driver's possible impairment are crude and inaccurate. Many LEOS making DUI arrests have limited or no experience in evaluating the effects of alcohol on the body.
