Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Deferred Prosecution and Employment
I completed deferred prosecution and the final disposition reads that the charges are dropped and case is dismissed. I applied for a job and one of the questions asked if I have ever been convicted of, plead guilty, no contest, been on parole, or on probation for any misdemeanor. What should be put in this case?

Re: Deferred Prosecution and Employment
As to this case, you have not been convicted of, plead guilty, no contest, been on parole, or on probation. If these are the only charges ever against you, then you can answer "no." You should have the records expunged to avoid future employers even finding about these charges.
