Define grand theift300.00-5000.00

To be charged with grand theift doesnt the state have to prove the value of the product meets the value requirements for the said charge? Doesnt the burdon of proof also require the state prove through s0me means the alleged item was actually stolen via pic pawn video etc.This grand theift stems from a shop lifting charge.

Yes the state must prove value over 300.000. Testimony from store clerk will suffice to prove value. Pls call if I can help.

So let's see, we will take this in two steps. Number one yes they have to prove it is a grand theft. This includes amount and the allegations. In regards to the allegations they can prove that several ways. Physical evidence is one way, but they can also prove it through testimonial evidence. That includes testimony from witnesses, managers, loss prevention employees, etc.
