Depression
Depression can cause hieghtened sexuality, could that contribute as a reason for a person to view child porn? depression also causes a person to talk on and on and not be able to hide secrets, could that get a confession thrown out?

There is some limited support for what you suggest and it can be the grounds to move suppress defendant's statements and it can form the basis for a defense.
What are the charges, what county, and is the defendant presently represented?
