Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

How do I get "details" or find out on what grounds/evidence an arrest warrant was issued on my nephew. All I have been able to get so far is the list of charges. The sheriff's dept questioned & cleared him but a local city police dept (who's jurisdiction in also in question) had him arrested on the same day on the same case. Now I have to pay a bail bondsman to get him out and will probably have to pay an attorney, all because this particular police dept has a history of targeting my nephew.

Unfortunately, the only way to find out what evidence there was, is to hire an attorney so that they can get discovery for your nephew. Discovery is all or most of the evidence the police have and ultimately that the prosecutor has against him. Even though they may be targeting him, it is best to hire counsel now in order to properly fight this.
