Discharging a Firearm in Public
Yes, my name is Dhante and I basically need to know exactly how serious the charge of discharging a firearm in public is, whether or not a lawyer is needed and what kinds of disciplinary actions are generally associated with such a charge. Thank You

Re: Discharging a Firearm in Public
Under most circumstances, it is a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail, but, under some circumstances, like whether a vehicle was involved or where people are standing, it can be punishable by five years in prison. So, yes, a lawyer is needed.
