It looks like you were reading the clerk's computer notes.
"MOTION WITHDRAWN D/MTN TO COMPEL DISCOVERY" means that the defense attorney withdrew his Motion to Compel Discovery. The likely reason is because of the second entry you cited "ANSWER TO DEMAND FOR DISCOVERY"
This means that the State provided discovery to the defense attorney, thus rendering the need to compel it by motion moot.

You demand discovery if for some reason you dont get it. Th emotion was withdrawn because he must have gotten what he wanted.
