My hysband was just senienced to 18 months in doc...I have herd that they get some sort of gain thime while their in there. Is this true? How much time will he do?...

Some types of charges don't allow for gain time, but most do. Most inmates can collect as much as 15% off their sentences with proper behavior. Certain actions, like getting a degree, can also add to gain time. Things that almost never happen, like saving the life of a guard, can cause even more than 15% to come off the sentence.
