Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Domestic violence injunction
My husband got arrested for
domestic violence. I did not press
charges nor write a statement, but
two witnesses did. When my
husband was released he had an
injunction on him. We are allowed no
contact until the court date. Is there
any way to get rid of the injunction
since I did not ask them to put one
on him?

Re: Domestic violence injunction
You are allowed to ask the criminal court judge to remove the condition that the two of you have no contact. You should ask your husband to speak to his lawyer about it. If he doesn't have a lawyer, he needs to get one.
