Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
domestic violence/avoiding jail-time
Brother is on 6mo. probation for a hit and run. Warrant out for his arrest for domestic violence (after serving only 2mo. probation). How can he avoid jail-time if victim wants charges to be dropped also?

Re: domestic violence/avoiding jail-time
It is somewhat complicated, but if victim does not cooperate with new charges and the case is dropped, then we likely can get VOP dismissed IF that is the only thing violating him.
