Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Drivers license problem

I have a suspended license in florida the question is this in june of 99 i moved to georgia and turned in a valid florida license then after georgia i moved again to new york in 01 and turned in my valid georgia license now i'm back in florida and they are stating my florida license was suspended in nov 99 when i already turned the license over to the state of georgia in june of 99 and from georgia turned the georgia license over to new york in 2001. What if anything can i do to show i no longer had a florida license at the time the state suspended my driving rights in florida it does not make any sense. I really need so clarification here.

You need to work this out with the Department of Motor Vehicles. You may have to schedule a hearing with them to have a determination made. Frankly, just because you "beat the clock" by turning in your license to another state before Florida suspended it does not mean that Florida cannot suspend your driving privileges.
