Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
driving with a suspended license while having a business purpose only license
I was arrested for driving with a suspended license however my attorney got a ''business purpose only'' license. This was a sheet of paper notorized by someone at the DMV. My attorney failed to inform me of the constraints of the license, namely that it expires in 60 days. I was pulled over after it had expired, which I did not know it expired, and was charged with driving with a suspended license even though I gave the officer the business purpose only license my attorney gave me. He even informed me that he was unaware they expire so soon. What are my options? I'm doing what I'm suppossed to do and I don't know what to do now. None of any of what I went through was my fault. Thank you for your help.
