Re: driving uner suspension but not aressted
If you are driving on a suspended or revoked license you are committing either a misdemeanor or a felony in the State of Florida. A second degree misdemeanor DWLSR could be punishable by up to 60 days in jail. A first degree misdemeanor (DWLSR with a prior DWLSR conviction) could be punishable by up to one year in jail. If your license is habitualized or if you have 2 or more prior DWLSR charges, it could be a felony punishable by up to 5 years in Florida State Prison.
If you would like to discuss this any further, my office is close by and I would be more than happy to help you and/or answer any questions you may have.
