droping charges
My friend kicked in my door and i pressed charges and he got charged with burglary how do i get those droped

A burglary is defined as entering a dwelling with the intent to committ a crime therein.
Getting the charges dropped can be difficult sometimes. A crime is not only committed against the victim (you) but also against the people of the state. So, many times, even if the victim doesn't want to prosecute, the state will continue to prosecute if they feel they can prove the crime in other ways. If you are the main witness, they will need your testimony to prosecute. If they do not have it, then they likely cannot prosecute.
