dropping charges
If my fiance wants to drop the charges that are held against me and the state already had her make her statment of what happened the night of the incident can the charges still be dropped

Only the state can drop charges. A victim can ask the state to do so, but that does not mean the State will. If there is other evidence, like photographs of injuries, statements, witnesses, the State can and likely will prosecute the case to trial.

I am assuming you are referring to a domestic incident. It depends on a variety of factors including whether there are any prior arrests, injury and the statement made to police. It is still possible but i would recommend hiring a criminal defense attorney specializing in the area of prosecution.
