Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
ebay
sold a boat on ebay and the buyer chose to wire the monkey instead of following the appropiate payment methods which I had stated on the listing($500 deposit via paypal at auction end/remainder due within 3 days). The buyer had paid 3 days after the deadline. There is evidence of the transaction, which was actually put into my wifes account. The deposit was made on 10/17. I live in FL and the buyer lives in CT. I still have possesion of the boat and title. Now they want the money back, which I have already spent (of coarse). Since he did not meet my requirements and chose another method of payment, can I tell them to get lost?

Re: ebay
This is not really a criminal law question, it is a contract issue. But I cant see why you think you can keep his money and the boat.
