Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Eligiblility for expungement or record sealing?
Back in 2000 I was arrested and charge w/marijuana possession and driving w/a suspended license. According the case detail on the possession charge, adjudication was withheld. And on the other charge under adjudication reads adjudicate. Under both dispositions it reads, convicted by plea. I originally plead no contest. Am I eligible to have the case expunged, sealed or an order of non disclosure? Anything from this showing up on background checks.

If the driving charge was a traffic ticket you qualify for sealing. If it was a misdemeanor you cannot seal anything
Re: Eligiblility for expungement or record sealing?
the marijuana charge can be expunged since adjudication was withheld. the no valid license charge cannot because you were adjudicated and because it is a traffic charge which can never be expunged.
