Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
email hacking
Please let me know if I have any legal grounds for the following scenerio. I recently had my laptop serviced and reformatted by a neighbor. He told me that while reformatting my laptop he ''accidentaly'' came across some of my ''very spicy'' emails. Ist question- By hacking into my email without my permission and bypassing my password( not given to him) and reading all of my emails can he be held liable in any way for this action? He has shared these with his family members which has me furious!
Please advise.
