Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was employed with Palm Beach School District for 1,5 years as a substitute teacher. In 2011 while I was at work in Boynton Beach Odyssey Middle School, two African-American students got out of control and started to create chaos in the class room. I asked them to settle down, when they physically attacked me by locking my arm behind my back, which caused me to have a dislocated shouder and a permanent muscle and tissue damage. I had called for help and the school police took a report of the incident. NOTHING more was done after that to remedy the situation, no follow up, no proper action. The class teacher upon return and the school itself did nothing about it and I was fired. I asked for medical help as I had no medical insurance, and school district referred me to one of their own doctors, who told me there was nothing wrong with my arm and shoulder. A year later, I am still in pain and my damage is now permanent. I have undergone testing and I have medical documents proving my condition. I was told I was let go from my job, because I had 3 offenses. I was not aware of ANY of them nor have I ever signed any documents or was I ever given any verbal or written notice. It is obvious, the school district is trying to cover the whole thing up. I'd like to hire an attorney, possibly 2 ( again, on contingency basis as you can imagine I'm unemployed) who would help me to file not only criminal charges but also help me to regain the financial loss I've encountered, as well as compensate me for my emotional and physical suffering and for wrongful termination.
Thank you,
Boris Gnezdilov, PhD.

My wife has worked many years as a sub in Miami-Dade with emotionally disturbed elementary students- some violent- so I emphasize with you.
What are the ages of the students? You may be able to claim your lost wages and medical bills from the Florida Victims Compensation Fund. You can obtain the form online or from and police department.
There is also an organization founded by Sunny Von Bulow to assist crime victims by lawyers of which I am a member. Contact me for referral to a member in Palm Beach County at 305-305-3351
