Empty envelope
You know how you can deposited money into your account throuh the ATM machine. Well My sister deposited an empty envelope and money was credited to her account right then so she withdrew the money from her ATM a couple days later they realized that the envelope was empty and her account is now negative. How much trouble can she get in?

Re: Empty envelope
Probably very little if she deposits the funds into the account immediately (or if she already did). Mistakes happen. However, if this is a pattern of behavior the bank may close her account or restrict her ATM privileges.
The odds of a criminal charge being brought on the facts that you present is remote, provided she has deposited the money.
