Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Entrapment
If a person is set up to do a drug deal by an informant and an undercover cop is it considered entrapment if at any time during the 14 conversations the person said ''just forget it, I don't even want to do this now'' and then the informant urged him to go ahead with it and he did.

Re: Entrapment
Entrapment is a defense, the applicability of which a jury has to determine based upon the facts. However, if a person is predisposed to commit the crime, and law enforcement just provides the opportunity, it is not entrapment. It sounds in your case like the person was predisposed, but it's something a jury must decide based upon all the facts.
