Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

escort service charge

I got a warrant put against me, 6 months AFTER i had moved out of the states. Over a year ago i owned an escort service. I quit, moved over seas as a teacher and 6 months later found out i have a had a warrant issued for my arrest for Racketeering/crimes against the community. I have never had any criminal background.Never been arrested, univeristy graduate. Since this would be my first anything.. It has been 7 months now since the warrant was issued, and i have no intentions to even go back to the states. Is this something that they would try to come and get me for, interpol or something like that?? A lawyer my family spoke to said that it wasnt that serious of a crime and it was my first offense. What are the statutes of limitations on Racketeering?? im confused??

Re: escort service charge

When you just dont answer a warrant by being overseas the statute of limitations is tolled, so just staying away wont help. I cant say whether interpol would get involved, but Im sure if you use an American passport, you will be detained.
