Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

A tape was used by vice and is being used in court, however I have not seen it and was told I probably would'nt and could not have a copy. Is this correct?

Generally Florida has "open" discovery. A defendant is entitled to see, review, and copy all of the state's evidence, both good and bad. Absent a ruling from the court to the contrary, you are entitled to a copy of the video, especially if it is being used against you.
