Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My ex-husband had one of his mistresses forge my name on a deed for a piece of property we owned together. I didn't learn about it until three year ago. Is there a statute of limitations on forgery?

Yes, most third and second degree felonies have a three year statute of limitations. However, if there was theft involved it is five years.
