Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Expected Range of Attorneys Fees

I am facing charges for DUI, possession of 3.5 grms of cocaine, possession of 1 oz of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license. This was following an accident on a public road. No other vehicles were involved. I do not drink. I have been a recovered alcoholic for the last 10 years. Child Support issues have caused me to have my license suspended a number of times for brief periods. I was under the care of an ENT physician for some inner ear problems and dizziness at the time.Following the accident, when I regained consciousness the driver was no where to be found and the police were there.I admit knowing and allowing the friend to possess drugs while driving. I did not and have not consumed alcohol or drugs of any kind for what will be 11 years on 10-17-2004. The police said that my behavior while being interviewed and my inability to pass a field sobriety test, and the possession of drugs indicated that I was DUI. I was given a breathalyzer test but I refused any further testing without speaking to an attorney first. I was charged with driving on a suspended license, no valid tag, and no insurance 2 weeks prior to this accident.I had a DUI in 78, 83, and 87. What can I expect legal fees to be?

Re: Expected Range of Attorneys Fees

I would guess that a fair estimate based upon the information that you have provided would be a minimum of $10,000 or around that.
