Re: expunge a felony record

Most people don't qualify for expunging but you might qualify for sealing.I handle a lot of these for out of town clients like yourself if you are interested in having a lawyer handle this for you.It is a long and complicated procedure. Otherwise contact the clerk of court in the county you were arrested in.

Re: expunge a felony record

In order to be eligible to have an Aggravated Battery arrest expunged, the charge would have had to have been dropped/dismissed by the State Attorney's Office or you would have had to have been found Not Guilty by a jury.

Assuming none of those apply, an attorney would need to know whether you were "adjudicated" guilty of the Aggravated Battery or whether the Judge "withheld adjudication." If you received a "withhold" and have no prior arrest record, you may be eligible to have your record sealed.

I would be more than happy to provide you with a FREE phone consultation to see if you are eligible for a sealing or expungement.
