Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Expungement or Expunction

How and what do I have to do, to get a felony off my record. This happen in 1975 when I was 19. I'm now 53 and never been in trouble since. I served 6 months probation and all charges was suppose to be dropped. I was allowed to move to Texas during the probation period back in Sept.75.

Re: Expungement or Expunction

The answer to your question depends on what the charge was that you were arrested for back in 1975, whether or not that charge is eligible to be sealed or expunged, and how the case was resolved in Court back then.

You can visit my website at: www.slavinlawfirm.com and learn more about sealing and/or expunging your criminal arrest record. On my website, you will see that certain charges (that tend to be more serious like burglary, robbery, drug trafficking, sex offenses, etc.) are not eligible to be sealed or expunged.

If you need further assistance, feel free to contact my law firm by phone or email.

Good luck,

Aaron J. Slavin, Esq.
