Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Extradition
I am wondering if Florida extradites misdemeanors? My cousin has a petite theft charge and a driving on suspended license. Would Florida extradite him from Missouri?

Re: Extradition
Probably not. To extradite, Florida would need to pay the bill to transport him. Usually they will pay if it is a felony, not misdmeanor. However, if he never resolves the case he will always have a warrant for his arrest which could affect chances of getting a job. Also if he ever wanted to come back to Florida for vacation he will have to worry about getting picked up.
