Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I am facing 35 years to life at a young age of 23, I am in on false charges. I was a college student and doing positive things with my life. I sit in county jail since December of 2009 and have a public attorney and he just acts like I have no chance. He doesnt tell me what is going on. He will not talk to my mother whom is my voice. She is so sick with not knowing wht to do for me. Please would there be any one out there whom could take a look at what is being done and where I am with these charges and help me. I feel sick cannot eat this food and now they have me in the hospital unit without a blanket just my clothes and no privleges such as commessary to eat a real cup of soup to stay alive. I need some one to please take a look at my charges and help with my cases and I know some attorneys work pro bono Is anyone there that will help me?

It would be difficult for an attorney to take such a case pro bono. If you're falsely accused and facing 35 to life, you will be going to trial and that takes many hours of preparation and maybe days or weeks in trial. Honestly, you and your family should be selling everything and/or borrowing money from any source to hire a competent criminal defense trial atttorney. Clients and/or their families have been known to sell land, houses, cars, jewelry, stocks, etc. in order to hire an attorney. Also, the PD doesn't have to talk to your Mother since you are the client, not your Mother.
