Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Fail to obey police officer

I was pulled over and given a ticket on January 07, 2006, but the ticket was dated for January 05, 2006. It stemed from an incident at a gas station where I went to pump gas and ran into a person I knew. This person was later stopped by a police officer and I calmly left. This same police officer is the one that pulled me over and she claimed that she told me to not go anywhere the day of the incident. I didn't hear her say anything to me that day. My windows were rolled down and I had no disrupting music on. She didn't say a word to me. She placed all her attention to the person I knew. I was wondering if giving me a ticket for failure to obey police officer, two days after the incident, was legal??

Re: Fail to obey police officer

It may be permissable but this case would be defendable. I would be interested in more of the facts but you should consider pleading not guilty and hire the services of a good attorney. Please contact our office so we may be of help in this matter
