Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Two failure to appear charges
I was charged with curb side drinking and posession of marijuana. I had to leave the state(Florida-Sarasota) and never made it to court. Now I have two FTA charges and am wondering the best way to resolve this issue.

Re: Two failure to appear charges
Depending on your record, the best way to handle the outstanding charges is to retain an attorney to help you negotiate a plea in abstentia. Contact me if I can help you with this.
Re: Two failure to appear charges
I handle these cases regularly for people who are charged in MA and then move to another state, just the opposite of your situation. I recommend that you contact and hire a Florida attorney located near to where you are to appear in court folow their advice.
