Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
failure to show
i have a son who had an suspended DL, everything was taken care of except he didn't realize he had to show proof of reinstating his licenes. judge issued a 15 day commit with no purge. he is picked up in a different county and held ther for 4 days because it was the weekend and holiday and the other jail didn't transport until tues. he is about to lose everything, job ets...get different answers from different people...some say he will get credit for time served others say no, some say the judge will see he did have his license and release him other say no. he isn't allow to see a judge or talk to anyone ...just sit there...if i hire a lawyer will they be able to get him out? he said crack heads, robbers and all kind of people are coming in and bonding out and he dan't do a thing....help!!!!!!!! i don't know what to do and i cant afford to pay alot of money.

If you want quick action, you will need to hire a lawyer. Probably, he will be able to get your son out quickly (assuming that I understand the facts you have given).
