Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

False conviction

Client was arrested for possesion of illegal substance and drunk driving. He had 3 public defenders.Client was not driving the car.A women he was with was driving she told the lawyer and the Judge she was the driver.The Judge was going to find her contemp of court.Client was given jail time a fine,and probation for 12 months.He was inocent of drunk driving, He did have a opened container of beer.He is tested for drugs by his probation officer.Dose he have a chance of getting the charge for drunk driving droped?????

Re: False conviction

I would advise that person to contact the public defenders office in the county where he was represented and request more information. If he was not the driver of the car, he should of asked his lawyer for a trial on the case.
