Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

falsely accused of a crime

A small business is using the state to proscute my daughter for stealing money. It can be proved that the company has misrepersented the evidence and that individuals repersenting the company have purgered themselves while under oath. What kind of crimes would they have committed?

If your statement is correct, perjury would be the immediate answer. Further, the making of a false statement in a legal proceeding. Various other crimes might have been committed based on the actual fact pattern.

You must understand that any claims she makes will be closely scrutinized based on the belief that it will be in retaliation for the charges which have been brought against your daughter. If she gives any false information she could be charged again.
