Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Why would a federal judge allow a high profile case go to court and then grant an aquittal. The jurors were in deliberation for 2 days when the acquittal order was granted.

I can't really answer this question without hearing everything that happened during the trial. However, it is likely because there was not enough evidence to submit it to the jury.
