Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Federal probabtion

I was sentenced to 3yrs probabtion in the federal system along with 3 months house arrest. The house arrest was a ''working'' house arrest whereby I was able to continue working up to 50hrs per week but could not leave my house until a specific time in the morning and then return at by specific time in the evening. I completed the house arrest with no problems or violations (something even my PO told me was going to be hard to do) and have been of no problems to my PO at all during my time on probation.

My question is this; I heard from a friend that most of the time the system will give you early release from probation after you have served half of the time and of course on the requirement that you have had no problems while on probation....is this true? If it is true, what do I need to do to get this done as this month is the halway point for me. Thank you very much for your time and help with this matter.
