felony arrest
How long does the state(hillsborough county,florida) have to file charges ? I have been in jail waiting since november 19,08.The case DSP is still pending.Do they count weekends in the time frame?

They can only hold a person in jail for at the very most 40 days without charging them. However if the person were to post bond they have several years to file charges. Yes weekends are included.
