Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Felony battery on Law enforcement officer
I was charged with this crime. My atty and prosecutor agreed that was a bogus charge. I was intoxicated and brushed up against the officers arm and he arrested me. My lawyer is getting the charge reduced to a misdemeanor 2. If I were to apply for a job with that charge be cause not to hire me and what would the misdemeanor charge be, assault?

It could be several possible charges, however you may be eligible to have the arrest sealed thereby allowing you to lawfully deny the arrest as having taken place. I may be able to help.

Yes sounds like and it depends on the job. You should always discuss the details of the plea with your attorney.
