Re: felony charge
There are a number of ways a felony arrest can become a misdemeanor charge. It can be reduced by the State Attorneys' Office, a jury could return a verdict on a misdemeanor rather than a felony, or after a ruling by a Judge in response to an appropriate motion.
Regardless of whether it is a misdemeanor or a felony, though, you want to have a lawyer representing you. If you would like to discuss your case in more depth, please contact my office.
