Felony charge
I was arrested in 1999 and want to know if they drop the arrest after 10yrs or can I expunge it or will it be on my record forever?

Re: Felony charge
Charges never go away until ordered sealed or expunged by the court. To learn more about sealing/expungement in Florida please see my site at SealMyRecord.Com

Were no charges filed after your arrest? If so, you can now apply to the state attorney general to expunge your conviction. E-mail me for details and a link to get the form.

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.
Arrest records are never "dropped". If you were not convicted of this or any other crime, you may apply to have your record sealed or expunged. Since you are not in Florida, you will need to retain an attorney to assist you in filing the pleadings and appearing in Court.
